ABOUT
My love for food and relationship with it has grown and developed throughout my life. When I was younger, I would hunt through the myriad of leftovers (my mother is an amazing cook), piecing together a meal by pairing this leftover from one night, with those extra sides from another. In college I got my first taste of organized food preparation in the kitchens of Newport, RI. My interests in not only the flavors, but the presentation and sourcing of food overwhelmed me with excitement. This passion catapulted me into year after year of extended backpacking trips through South and Central America, Europe, and Central and Eastern Asia. I would explore and eat EVERYTHING, twice if I didn't like it. I would bring these flavors and experiences back to the US and infuse them into my work in various kitchens in fast paced, cutthroat environments such as Nantucket, Boston, and Charleston, SC. But the menus could not change fast enough in my efforts to share my experiences with clients. So I chose a more intimate setting, an opportunity to share our passions to create a memorable experience for us both.
